Ham Hill Country Park – Event Booking & Attendance Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern all bookings made through our website and attendance at any event hosted at Ham Hill Country Park. By booking or attending an event, you agree to comply with these Terms.

2. Booking & Payment

  • All event bookings must be completed through our official website unless otherwise stated.
  • Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your place.
  • Prices are listed on the event page and may be subject to change prior to purchase.
  • You are responsible for providing accurate contact information when booking.

3. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Customer cancellations:
    • Cancellations made 30 or more days before the event will receive a full refund.
    • Cancellations made within 30 days of the event are non‑refundable.
  • Event cancellations by Ham Hill Country Park:
    • If we need to cancel or reschedule, you will be offered a full refund or transfer to a new date.
    • We are not liable for any additional costs you incur (e.g., travel expenses).

4. Event Attendance

  • Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your scheduled event time.
  • Staff instructions must be followed at all times to ensure safety and enjoyment for all attendees.
  • We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove anyone behaving in a way that is unsafe, disruptive, abusive, or contrary to park rules.

5. Health, Safety & Accessibility

  • Some events take place outdoors and may involve uneven ground, variable weather, or physically demanding activity.
  • Attendees are responsible for wearing appropriate clothing and footwear.
  • Please inform us of any accessibility requirements in advance; we will do our best to accommodate them.
  • Children under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult unless the event description states otherwise.

6. Weather Conditions

  • Events may proceed in a variety of weather conditions.
  • In cases of extreme or unsafe weather, we may postpone, modify, or cancel events. Any changes will be communicated as early as possible.

7. Liability

  • Attendance at events is at your own risk.
  • Ham Hill Country Park is not responsible for personal injury, loss, or damage to personal belongings unless caused by our negligence.

8. Photography & Media

  • We may take photographs or videos during events for promotional purposes.
  • If you prefer not to be photographed, please let staff know on arrival.
  • You are welcome to take your own photos, provided they do not disrupt the event or infringe on others’ privacy.

9. Use of Personal Data

  • Personal information provided during booking will be used only for managing your event attendance and related communication.
  • We will not share your information with third parties except where required by law.

10. Changes to Events or Terms

  • We reserve the right to update event details or these Terms at any time.
