Tales of Bravery and Triumph

Tales of Bravery and Triumph

Story telling afternoon (stories written by YOU!)

Wednesday the 28th October, 16:00-17:30.

Share your own stories, tales from your ancestors, or delve into history and legend. Why not create a story about Ham Hill? Concepts: Why is the hill a hill yet the levels are level? What became of the lost village of Witcombe? Would Cheddar rock and Hamstone make the perfect sandwich? ... or create your own! Hot chocolate provided before we start telling our stories, and toasted marshmallows at the end!

Stories: Please aim to be no longer than 5 minutes. Please have a story ready to go before attending.

Hot chocolate/marshmallows. If you require vegetarian/vegan marshmallows/vegan hot hot chocolate, please email edward.chilcott@somerset.gov.uk to let me know.

Event is family friendly, suitable for children 8 and older. The event is free but booking is essential. Please book on anyone who plans on telling a story. Location: the Hollow, close to the Visitor's Centre. Meeting point: The Ham Hill Visitor's Centre at 15:50. Have your booking confirmation at the ready.

Event bought to you by Tea and Poetry and the Ham Hill Ranger Team.
