Celebrate Somerset Day on Ham Hill! A guided walk around the Northern Spur, in which we'll talk of the protests and power struggles which have shaped this magnificent landmark. For this event, we will follow the accessible trail on Ham Hill's Northern Spur, which is largely flat, albeit gravelly.
Useful information. £10 per adult. Booking essential. email discoverwild@somerset.gov.uk. Walk led by Joseph from the South Somerset Heritage Collection, and Edd from the Green Estates Team (Somerset Council). Monday 11th May, 12:30-15:00. Arrive at Ham Hill Rangers Office (not the visitor's centre), close to the Prince of Wales pub, for 12:20. Route is less than 2 miles, and there will be plenty of stops along the route.
